Mama & baby yoga

Rosie offers yoga classes and 1-to-1s for mums and babies.

What we do

Come along and have an hour of moving your body with safe, supportive yoga practices to ease you back into exercises and having some time to connect.

Our postnatal classes welcome you and your baby from 6-8 weeks old and up until they start crawling. We use scarves and noises to interact with your baby. Move them with you to stretch and use chimes at the end of the session which babies LOVE.

Beginner friendly

Yoga is a great way to relax and bond with your newborn baby, regardless of your experience. Most our women have never done yoga before, so there’s no need to worry – our classes are adapted for you and your experience.

The primarily focus is to make you feel good, calm and empowered in your self, you just have guidance how to do this. Yoga techniques you will learn and practice you can also do at home and have these tools and memories with you for life.

What you can expect

Our classes are a little different each week, but overall it goes like this:

    Welcome

    Settle into your provided mat, bolser, blocks, pregnancy ball and blanket. All you need to indulge in your experience.

  2. 2

    Breath work

    Open up with a breathing practice and a mindful moment to set ourselves up.

  3. 3

    Yoga flow

    We start a gentle yoga flow to get you (and baby) moving safely and in a supportive way.

  4. 4

    Relax

    We finish with a deep relaxation or yoga Nidra during our pregnancy class, or just give you time to lay back with baby in our mum and baby classes.

  5. 5

    Treat

    Get a small chocolate treat to wake you back up after your rest and have a little chat.

Meet Your Instructor

Hi, I’m Rosie

I’m a registered midwife. In 2023, I qualified in Yoga for Pregnancy under the wonderful Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, and I’m now bringing my knowledge and passion to empower mums and mums-to-be through yoga.

My approach is focused on helping you find your calm and confident self. As a midwife, I also want to give you the knowledge to help you feel at ease and prepared for pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

Most women who come to us have never done yoga before, so I teach poses and flows that are easy to follow along and make adjustments to help you feel your best. As a yoga instructor, I want to make sure you feel good and empowered, learn something new, and have some calm.

Mother the Mother

Our ultimate Autumn Rose experience. A 1-1 pregnancy or postnatal therapeutic yoga session with Rose followed by a luxurious pregnancy or postnatal massage with Tiffany. You will leave rejuvenated, nurtured and empowered. Time to be heard and seen, finishing with a cup of herbal tea, sweet treat and reflection time.

1-1 Postpartum Yoga

During 1-1 yoga, I teach poses and flows that are specific to your recovery/delivery. Adjustments will be made help you feel your best. As a yoga instructor, I want to make sure you feel good and empowered, learn something new, and have some calm. Postnatal yoga 1-1's welcome you and your baby from 6-8 weeks old and up until they start crawling. We use scarves and noises to interact with your baby as you are flowing through yoga.

4-Week Postnatal Yoga Classes

A gentle 4 week postnatal yoga course designed to support your recovery, rebuild strength, and nurture calm after birth. These sessions focus on core and pelvic floor awareness, stretching, relaxation, and breathing, all in a supportive, baby-friendly space. Non crawling babies are very welcome, with time to pause for feeds, cuddles, and settling as needed. No prior yoga experience required. Meet other postpartum mums to chat over a herbal tea at the end of class.

  • Where can I find Autumn Rose?

    Autumn Rose offers services in Lyndhurst, Havant, and Romsey, with remote 1-to-1 yoga available across Hampshire. Yoga classes and baby massage are held at Pure Health & Wellness in Lyndhurst and The Spring in Havant. Massages and private yoga sessions are available at Pure in Lyndhurst and Springwell in Havant.

  • Is there parking at your venues?

    Yes, parking is available at all our locations. We'll send you instructions once you've booked.

  • Can I book a massage and a yoga session together?

    Yes, the Mother the Mother package combines a massage and yoga session. Visit the packages page to book or enquire via the contact form.

  • What services does Autumn Rose offer?
